A contest of woodcraft and modern creative works using traditional Ainu
skills was held for three days from July 14 at the exhibition hall on the
first floor of "Kaderu 2.7" in Sapporo.Although there were magnificent
works of clothing with Ainu patterns that give them an original artistic
flavor and unique hunting gear; unfortunately, some of the skills used
in creating these have already been lost. Aiming to restore lost skills
