2002 Ainu Craft Contest(July 13-15, 2002)

A contest of woodcraft and modern creative works using traditional Ainu skills was held for three days from July 13 at the "Rairack Hall" in Sapporo. Although there were magnificent works of clothing with Ainu patterns that give them an original artistic flavor and unique hunting gear; unfortunately, some of the skills used in creating these have already been lost.
