Kazuto Hosokawa

Kazuto Hosokawa has been a positive participant in Ainu culture transmission activities. In addition, he devotes himself to the training of successors because he strongly feels the need for transmission and preservation of Ainu culture in the Urakawa area with the decreasing number of traditionalists who perform Ainu traditional ceremonies and festivals. Furthermore, he dedicates himself to the promotion of the Ainu language and training of successors as an instructor at the Ainu Language Class of the Urakawa Branch, Ainu Association of Hokkaido and is still engaging in Ainu culture dissemination activities to broaden knowledge of and seek deep understanding of the Ainu in Hokkaido and other parts of Japan, greatly contributing to the promotion of Ainu culture.
