Setsuko Koishikawa, a member of the Mukawa Ainu Culture Transmission and Preservation Society and a traditionalist of songs and dances passed down to the Mukawa area, has been actively participating as a leader for many years in public performances to present Ainu culture held in various parts of Japan. She also devotes herself to the preservation and transmission of old-style dancing and the training of successors, which has led to a number of successors in the area.Furthermore, active as an instructor at Ainu Language Class, she staged a "Drama in Ainu" at the Ainu Folk Culture Festival, greatly contributing to the promotion of Ainu culture.
